Duane is a globally recognized expert in digital technology, specializing in the application of technology to healthcare. Duane has spent the last several decades working with national and provincial governments around the world on their digitization strategies and implementations. Duane is formerly the Vice President & Chief Information Officer of McMaster University Medical Centre/Hamilton Health Sciences in Hamilton, and is currently the founder and President of Digital Health Partners in Hamilton.
Duane holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science specializing in Digital Health from McMaster University and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
Duane lives on a rural property in Niagara (West Lincoln) with his wife, two children, and various animals, and is passionate about leaving the environment in better shape than how he found it.
