Karley is an Environmental Project Specialist for the City of Brampton, responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the Environmental Master Plan, with a focus on land use planning, climate change, sustainability, and natural heritage. Karley manages various environmental projects and initiatives in collaboration with conservation authorities, internal departments and community groups. Previously, she worked in consulting as a community collaboration analyst, specializing in community and Indigenous partnerships and engagement for resource development, infrastructure and urban planning projects.
She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. She became vested in Niagara Region when she studied at Niagara College and completed a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management and Assessment.
Karley is currently pursuing a certificate in Community Development, Leadership and Engagement at Toronto Metropolitan University to expand her knowledge on building sustainable communities.
In her spare time, Karley enjoys working on her pollinator and vegetable gardens in Port Colborne, biking the Friendship Trail from Welland to Fort Erie and kayaking in Lake Erie.
