Caitlin studied at the University of Guelph receiving her B.Sc. in Biodiversity and Plant Science, and her M.Sc. in Environmental Science focusing on Entomology. She worked in insect integrative pest management in the horticulture sector researching sustainable approaches to manage invasive insects for many years before returning to school to complete a graduate certificate in Ecosystem Restoration at Niagara College. She has always had a strong passion for protecting the environment and is always looking for ways to become involved in conservation efforts while sharing her knowledge about insect biodiversity. Caitlin is thrilled to volunteer with Land Care Niagara to contribute to enhancing Niagara’s ecosystems.
